On Saturday, September 21, we had our first Community Painting Day<\/strong> <\/a>for the 2014 Halloween house.\u00a0 A Fellowship of painters gathered to begin the epic work of crafting Middle Earth.\u00a0 With Elven grace and Dwarf-ish determination, this merry band painted much of the landscape\u2014the rolling hills of Middle Earth,\u00a0Mount Doom and even the hidden enchanted gate of Moria.\u00a0 But not everyone escaped unscathed.\u00a0 Many participants carried some of the color of the battlefield home with them.\u00a0 Undaunted, they pressed on and completed the task placed in front of them.<\/p>\n
