One of the most iconic images associated with the Ghostbusters is their logo<\/strong>. It appears in every movie, on Ghostbuster uniforms and even covers the side of Ecto 1. We needed a big “no ghosts” logo as part of this year’s house.<\/p>\n

The logo needed to be 6 feet wide, and so freehand painting would be tricky. So, we used a projector (at night outside) to project the logo on to a large piece of cardboard, adjusting the distance between the projector and screen until the logo was 6 feet wide.<\/p>\n

Using a black marker, we traced around the details of the logo.<\/p>\n

After all the tracing, we ended up with an accurate, large-scale outline of the logo.<\/p>\n

Then, on our first painting day, Brian and Grace began painting the giant logo.<\/p>\n

Grace continued to focus on the job, filling in the red “no” symbol.<\/p>\n

At our second community painting day, Bich carefully painted the black lines, completing the design.<\/p>\n
