A Very Seuss-ical Night

This year’s theme was Dr. Seuss.
To describe it in words would be of no use.
Halloween night was one for the books.
Here are some photos. Please take a look!

The house is all ready, it’s ready you bet!

Truffula trees, high as they can get.

A lamppost with some stowaway fish.

And a car for your clean-iest, clean-up wish.

The Grinch points up and exclaims with a shout!

While critters and creatures all hang about.

The house is ready. It’s ready. It’s true!

We’re all here waiting. Waiting for you!

Here is the Cat in his very tall Hat.

The Lorax and Horton look this way and that.

Sam I Am with some green eggs and ham.

While the Cat cleans up. Whiz, bang, bam!

Here we all are, all tidy and neat.

While all of the Things pass out all the treats.

The large group of people was quite a sight!

The lamppost, at night, had a light-y light light.

These group of visitors are ones we adore.

Oh my, look! There are Things galore!

Sam I Am found some more Green Eggs and Ham!

And this is the crew that executed the plan.

This fan has done costumes of all the houses we do.

So we went and made him part of the crew!

To all who helped, we say, “Hear, hear!”
We look forward to seeing you all next year!

We are always keeping an eye out for items for the house. If you happen to have any of the items below and are willing to donate them to the cause, let us know! Your name will be added to the Super Awesome Donor list and kids in San Jose will have an even funner(!) Halloween thanks to you.

- Large storage bins with tapered sides and rectangular protruding shapes. We will paint and cut them, so they will not necessarily return in the same condition.
- Replica-grade Mandalorian era Star Wars cosplayers and/or costumes. Eric is in the 501st. Contact him if you or someone you know would like to be a part of the evening (~3ish hours Halloween night), or be willing to lend some armor or costumes to us for the night.
