More Painting!

For our third and final Community Painting Day of the season, we focused on a few last details needed to bring the house to life.

Shloka and Bethany paint Kermit’s banjo and the Sesame Street sign light globe.

Shloka and Bethany then switched over to painting boxes that will be part of the Oscar the Grouch scene.

Brian and Michelle cut out the Electric Mayhem bus and the Pigs in Space ship (the Swinetrek).

Thanks to all those who came out this year to help paint props and scenes! You helped bring this house to life! Come by on Halloween to see all the pieces you made!

We are always keeping an eye out for items for the house. If you happen to have any of the items below and are willing to donate them to the cause, let us know! Your name will be added to the Super Awesome Donor list and kids in San Jose will have an even funner(!) Halloween thanks to you.

- Large storage bins with tapered sides and rectangular protruding shapes. We will paint and cut them, so they will not necessarily return in the same condition.
- Replica-grade Mandalorian era Star Wars cosplayers and/or costumes. Eric is in the 501st. Contact him if you or someone you know would like to be a part of the evening (~3ish hours Halloween night), or be willing to lend some armor or costumes to us for the night.
