Painting Day 3

We had our final painting day of the season on Saturday, October 17th. We had a LOT of things to paint and while I sometimes think I have too much stuff for folks to paint in the time alloted, they continued to prove me wrong, cranking out a whole Star Wars city’s worth of projects. Below are some photos from the day:

Bich and Brian paint the Armorer’s archway in our driveway.
Shelly and her crew tackle one of the doors of Nevarro.
Bethany and Bich paint a kiddie pool (which is really the Armorer’s forge vent hood if you squint really hard.)
Gary and Pat power through item after item, painting walls, doors and anything we put near them.
Bethany, Michelle and Vanessa paint the dark orange doors of Nevarro.
We painted so much stuff, we almost ran out of places to put the items as they dried. Here is a shot of the back yard drying area…
…and the front yard drying area.
We also had people draw symbols representing each of our 25 Halloween houses on our memorial rocks (see post about their history).
Can you guess each year’s theme?

A HUGE thanks to those who came out and helped. You all did an amazing job! Thanks to everyone who helped out this year, painting or donating things. You help bring the world of the Mandalorian to life in Downtown San Jose!
