Once the pillars were ready for our street of Nevarro, I moved on to the walls, doors and arches of Nevarro. In the Mandalorian, there are lots of angled, recessed, metal doors and also various archways throughout the city.

To create these, I continued to use the 1.5″ insulation foam. The panels are 4’X8′ and I utilized their full 8′ height for the walls. I used a hot knife to cut various shapes to achieve the recessed areas of the doors and glued them into place with Great Stuff expanding foam.

For the doors, I overlaid the 1.5″ foam with 0.5″ foam with shapes cut out of it.

Here you can see the door within the recessed doorway. (For those visiting on Halloween, this door will be the closest one to our visitors. It is a replica of the door that Din Djarin enters to get his assignment to find Grogu.)

I also wanted some low walls to complete the city, but also allow visitors to see down the street. I made those with the same insulation foam as the rest of the street.

Here is a look at the closest door and low wall where they will be on Halloween night.

From there I built more walls and more doors.

Finally, I really wanted to add an arch, so I created one at the end of the street which will span the two back pillars of the street.

On our third Community Painting Day, we painted all of the walls, doors and archway.

Once we get closer to Halloween, we will begin to set up all the pieces and add some final details.
