“You Shall Bring Us a Brushery!”

We had our second painting day and many backdrops and props were completed! Thanks to the noble knights who tarried forth, we were able to achieve victory of an extremely artistic sort. Below are some photos from the day.

Michelle and Bethany paint ‘grout’ or the space between the rocks for the stone wall and castle wall.
There was LOTS of grout to paint! We got all of the stone walls and castle walls done!
Michelle paints the grail, Jill paints the logo lettering and Bob paints the background of God.
Venessa took on one of the hardest tasks—cutting out all the things that had been painted!
Bob moves on to cart wheels, Jill begins to tackle the detail design of Lancelot’s shield and Gary paints part of the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.
Everyone hard at work!
Karson Wells from SJSU Update News dropped by to interview us about the Halloween house.
Bob begins painting the chicken on Sir Robin’s shield.
Vanessa took on the Tom Sawyer-like task of painting the fence (that will surround the shrubbery for the Knights Who Say ‘Ni!’) white.
Jill continues the painstaking work of painting the details of Lancelot’s shield.
Gary and Lily take a turn painting the background layers of God.

Thanks soooo much to everyone who came out and helped! You helped create the world of the Holy Grail movie. Come by on Halloween to check out your work!
